Gwynedd-Mercy 6, Penn State Mont Alto 1

Gwynedd-Mercy used four second half goals to pull away from a 2-0 lead against Penn State Mont Alto in the Nittany Lions season opener. The Griffins owned the shot on goal battle, outshooting the opposition 26-6. Hugh Lynch led the way with three shots on goal for Gwynedd-Mercy. Thomas Lane tallied Penn State Mont Alto's opening goal at the 48 minute mark on an assist from Thomas Oberholzer. 

Aydan Hernandez started in goal for Mont Alto, stopping five shots on 11 attempts. Gwynedd-Mercy goalkeeper Shaine Kerby stopped one of his two shots on goal attempts. River Terry had the other shot on goal attempt for Penn State Mont Alto. 

Six different Griffins found the back of the net on Tuesday night including a goal and an assist from Hugh Lynch and Tyler Bascone.
