Penn State Mont Alto men's soccer opened conference play at home on Wednesday evening with Penn State Beaver. Penn State Beaver struck early in the second minute on a Nadeem Shakshir tally on an assist by Ethan Paxton. Mont Alto's River Terry would tie the contest in the 26th minute with his goal on an assist from Bryce Kylor

 

Penn State Beaver took a 2-1 lead into the half with a late goal in the 42nd minute scored by Tanner Golletti. 

 

Osarumwense Ehigiamusoe added the insurance goal just minutes after the beginning of the second half, his goal assisted by Martin Igaba. 

 

Penn State Beaver led the game in shots on goal, 17-4 and in corner kicks 12-3.

 

Penn State Beaver goalkeeper Ernesto Castillo-Platero recorded three saves on his four shot attempts. Scott Stanko Jr. registered 13 saves on 16 shots on goal in his season debut in goal for Penn State Mont Alto.
