Mont Alto, Pa.- Wilson's Andrew Bailey tallied two second half goals as he helped extend a Phoenix 1-0 halftime lead to 3-0 as Wilson College got the best of Mont Alto 4-0 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Both sides started out strong defensively on Saturday until Lenin Cinco fed Eric Arbogast into the box as he defeated Mont Alto keeper Jawad Malik in the 7th minute for the first goal of the game. The rest of the half remained clean as Wilson took a 1-0 advantage into the break.
Late in the second half, Andrew Bailey tallied both of his goals in the 71st and 76th minute as Wilson took a 3-0 lead. Jace Williams added an insurance goal in the 85th minute on an assist from Jordan DeVincent.
Connor Ford, Garrett DiBenio and Alan Hoffner each recorded a shot on goal for Mont Alto.
