Penn State Lehigh Valley 100, Penn State Mont Alto 21

Penn State Mont Alto dropped its home and conference opener on Tuesday evening, losing to Penn State Lehigh Valley 100-21. Kirsten Dell led all Mont Alto scorers with six points in 26 minutes. Colette Salyers added five points and Autumn Fischer scored four points on 2 of 4 shooting. 

Penn State Lehigh Valley turned up the pressure early, jumping out to a 28-1 first quarter lead by forcing 20 Penn State Mont Alto turnovers. Samantha Columna and Nia Newman paced the Lehigh Valley offense in the first quarter with six points each.

Penn State Lehigh Valley scored 30 points in the second quarter and 68 total in the first half as it took a 68-9 lead into the half. Colette Salyers and Aspyn Keetch each had three points in the second quarter to lead the Mont Alto offense.

Kirsten Dell scored four of her team high six points in the third quarter on 2 of 3 shooting. Autumn Fischer scored a team-leading four points for Penn State Mont Alto in the fourth quarter. Penn State Lehigh Valley outscored Penn State Mont Alto 32-12 in the second half.
