Penn State Mont Alto couldn't complete the comeback down two goals on Saturday afternoon, dropping a non-conference tilt to Hagerstown C.C. Hagerstown's Kayda Shives recorded the first goal of the contest in the 13th minute on an assisted pass from Mikaila Ek. Eight minutes later, Diana James put HCC up two goals with her tally in the 21st minute. The rest of the half remained scoreless and HCC outshot Penn State Mont Alto 12-3 in the first 45 minutes of action.

 

Penn State Mont Alto applied more offensive pressure in the seccond half, winning the shots on goal battle 8-2 in the second half. Madison Eberly found the back of the net for her sixth goal of the season during the 84th minute on an unassisted goal.

 

Penn State Mont Alto could not connect on a few other scoring chances late in the half as they would fall to 3-5 overall on the season following the non-conference loss.

 

Diana James paced the HCC offense with three shot attempts. Madison Eberly led the way for Penn State Mont Alto as she recorded four shots on goal.
