2019 Mont Alto XC Lap-a-Thon Donation Sheet

MONT ALTO, Pa. – For the first-time ever, the Penn State Mont Alto cross country program is launching a Lap-a-Thon fundraiser that will be held on campus on the intramural field on Saturday, September 28. The money raised will go directly to the program to further benefit the student-athlete experience on campus.

Current members of the PSUMA cross country team will run as many 400-meter laps as they can during a 1-hour time period. Head coach Kevin Geesaman will monitor the number of laps each athlete runs and will record that number on the athlete's donation sheet. The goal set forth by the team is for each athlete to run 25-35 laps.

Coach Geesaman will collect the donation sheets and checks from each athlete no later than 1-week (October 5, 2019) after the event. Donations (by check only, made payable to: Penn State University, Mont Alto Cross Country Fundraiser in memo line) are being solicited per lap and/or by flat amount.

The 2019 season is underway for both the men and women as the Nittany Lions take part in the Hood Blazers Twilight Meet on Friday, September 13.
