UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – On Wednesday, October 9 the Penn State University Athletic Conference announced that Mont Alto's Madison Ford (Fayetteville, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) was selected as the runner of the week.

Ford was the first runner for Mont Alto to cross the finish line this past Saturday at the Goucher College XC Classic. The sophomore finished ninth in the women's 6K race with a recorded time of 34:18.14. This is the third time in which Madison Ford (Fayetteville, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) has been recognized as runner of the week by the PSUAC conference office.

Penn State Mont Alto competes for the final time during the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Hood College Invitational. PSUMA will then host the PSUAC Invitational Championships at nearby Noro Park on October 26.
