HEALTHY PENN STATE

Healthy Penn State (HPS) is an initiative led by Health Promotion and Wellness. Healthy Penn State is a holistic approach to promoting well-being that encourages the development and maintenance of a sound body, mind, and spirit. The aim is to improve the academic success of students by enhancing behaviors that promote health and reduce the incidence of behaviors that negatively impact the welfare of students.

PENN STATE MONT ALTO HEALTH and COUNSELING SERVICES

Health Services

 

The Health Center is located on the 1st floor of the Wellness House. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

 

Questions and concerns please contact Danielle Werner, campus nurse, at 717-749-6160. She can also be reached at daw51@psu.edu. Physicians are also available by appointment only.

 

If you’re not able to reach Health Services at Mont Alto or have an urgent matter please call the 24/7 nurse advise line at 814-865-4UHS (4847).

Counseling Services

 

In-person and virtual counseling services

 

Students interested in scheduling an appointment in counseling services have the option of scheduling with either Darlene Pasi, M.S., LPC or Ashley McLaughlin, M.S., LSW. Counseling services are free for currently enrolled Penn State students. 

 

Counseling Services has normal operating hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m Monday-Friday.

If there is an urgent matter and during normal operating hours, please contact Counseling Services directly at 717-749-6125 or drp16@psu.edu to schedule a same-day urgent appointment.
