The Penn State Mont Alto golf team traveled to State College on Monday to compete in the PSUAC Invitational held at the Blue Course. Brennan Sease shot a team-leading 76 and Jared Pine improved upon his season average, carding a season-best 84. 

Stephen Lucas (87), Brogan Beall (88) and Darian Mort (93) rounded out the scoring for Penn State Mont Alto. 

"Each player had a hole or two that could have made a difference in finishing in the top spot, overall, we all felt pretty good about the way we played. The course though in great shape, was tough due to the weather, it was a little chilly and there were heavy winds through out the round, said Penn State Mont Alto Head Golf Coach Ed Reely."

"We had a pretty good feel about our rounds, we gained some knowledge about the course for when we go back for the USCAA Championships in early October."
