Second half goals sink Penn State Mont Alto Men's soccer team 3-1

MONT ALTO, PA-- A second half hat trick by Penn State Brandywine's Alex Sydor wiped away any early momentum captured by Penn State Mont Alto on Wednesday evening in PSUAC men's soccer action. The Lions fall to 3-7 on the season and 1-3 in the PSUAC. Penn State Mont Alto got on the board first following a beautiful header finished off by Aiyman Alsibae (Philadelphia, PA) as he found the back of the net for his sixth goal of the season. The defensive pressure intensified going into the half as freshman goalkeeper Cole White (Sewickley, PA) came up huge on several corner attempts for Penn State Brandywine. He finished the day with twelve saves.

In the second half, Penn State Brandywine evened up the score in the 63rd minute with a goal by Alex Sydor (White Plains, NY), which came on an assist by Christian Zavala (Kennett Square, PA). Sydor would complete the hat trick with goals in the 65th and 85th minute.

Penn State Mont Alto's offense was paced by Aiyman Alsibae and Bryce Kylor who each registered a shot on goal. Penn State Brandywine's offense was led by Alex Sydor with five shots on goal and Joey Cairy who netted three shots on goal.
