Men's soccer drops PSUAC game to Greater Allegheny 3-2

Penn State Greater Allegheny 8-6 overall, 5-3 PSUAC

 

The Story:

Penn State Mont Alto dropped a PSUAC contest Wednesday evening losing to Penn State Greater Allegheny 3-2. The loss moves the team to 7th place in the PSUAC Men's Soccer standings, the top six teams make the playoffs. Three key PSUAC contests remain for the team as they face Penn State Fayette on Friday, travel to Penn State Scranton on Tuesday 10/19 and have senior day on 10/23 versus Penn State Hazleton. Alex Call opened the scoring for Mont Alto in the 47th minute on an assist from Bryce Kylor. Trenton Shetler gave the visitors the 2-1 advantage in the 65th minute on an assist from Bryce Palamar on a corner kick. Greater Allegheny struck back with Stuart Dare registering his second goal on the day and TJ Knutson getting the game-winning goal in the 85th minute.
