Kauffman's OT winner propels men's soccer over Penn State Scranton

After getting down in the first ten minutes on a Penn State Scranton goal by Mike Foder, the Penn State Mont Alto men's soccer team would find themselves scoreless for the rest of the half and much of the second half. With three minutes remaining in the second half, the tides turned as Patrick Pruy found the back of the net on an assist from Bryce Kylor. For Pruy, the goal was his second on the season. In the overtime period, Brett Kauffman clinched the game for Penn State Mont Alto as he would score on an assist from Aiyman Alsibae. The goal was Kauffman's fifth of the year, putting him in second place on the team in goals. The come from behind victory has the men's soccer team currently sitting 6th in the PSUAC standings. On the men's side, the top six teams make the playoffs. The men's team will play at home on Saturday against Penn State Hazleton at 3pm. The game is a pink out and senior day for three team members playing in their last home game here at Penn State Mont Alto.
