Men's soccer finishes strong, clinches final PSUAC playoff spot

The story:

Fresh off a win last Friday against Penn State Fayette, the men's soccer team saw its season hang in the balance on Tuesday afternoon at Penn State Scranton. Trailing 1-0 late into the end of regulation, they were able to score the final two goals to complete the comeback. That win would keep them in 6th place in the PSUAC standings with a final regular season home game against Penn State Hazleton. The team was able to keep the season alive behind strong play for 90 minutes against Penn State Hazleton Saturday. Brett Kauffman scored in the first two minutes on an assist from Connor Geis. Bryce Palamar and Thomas Oberholzer added on first half goals to go into the half up 3-0. Thomas Oberholzer added his second of the day in the second half and Bryce Kylor along with Trenton Shetler rounded out the second half scoring. Saturday was also the Annual Pink Out Game in which the soccer teams raised money for the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA).
