Men's soccer drops PSUAC Quarterfinal game

The postseason run for the Penn State Mont Alto men's soccer team ended Wednesday afternoon following a 5-1 loss to #3 seed Penn State New Kensington. The team's record on the season finished up at 8-11 overall and 5-5 in the conference.

 

How it happened:

-Brady Braun got New Kensington on the board early in the 10th minute on an assist from Jordan Cooper. For Braun, the goal is his 8th on the season.

 

-Mont Alto answered in the 52nd minute on a tally by Ben Krietz.

 

-Braun added his second goal of the day ten minutes later, in the 62nd minute.

 

-Austin Arnold found the back of the net for his 7th of the season, in the 69th minute.

 

-Jordan Cooper gave New Kensington a three goal advantage when he scored his 13th goal of the season on an assist by Jacob Guerrini.

 

-William Root also scored in the 84th minute to give the home team a 5-1 advantage.
