MONT ALTO, Pa. - Penn State Mont Alto sophomore wrestler Brandon Jackson (East Berlin, Pa. / Bermudian Springs) was selected as the wrestler of the week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Jackson had a pair of pins highlighting the Mont Alto wrestling performances at the Mont Alto Fall Duals on Nov. 18. Jackson secured a pair of pins over opponents from Thaddeus Stevens and the University of Maryland WC enroute to a 3-0 performance. The sophomore competed in the 141-pound division and pinned Evan Jones of the University of Maryland in 3:38 and did the same to Brad Snider in just over four minutes.

Jackson has an official record of 3-5 on the 2017-18 season. The Mont Alto wrestling team returns to action on Friday, December 1 at the Messiah Petrofes Invitational.
