Women's soccer remains undefeated in PSUAC play

Penn State Schuylkill 2-6, 1-4

Penn State Mont Alto 7-1, 6-0

The story: 

The scoring got started on a Lacey Daum goal fifteen minutes into the contest. Penn State Schulykill's Ariana Trautz would quickly answer to tie the game at one. Sydney Trostel (25') and Hannah Beckett (34') rounded out the first half tallies. Kara Newell got the second half scoring started in the 48th minute. It would be nearly thirty minutes later until Penn State Mont Alto recorded another goal. Stephanie Lewis (73') and Madison Blyler (75') scored nearly back-to-back to send the Mont Alto lead to 6-1. Hannah Beckett recorded her second goal in the 83rd minute and Grace Banfe scored in the 88th minute to round out the scoring on the day. Jesime Freet was strong in goal as she recorded seven saves on eight shots on goal.
