Volleyball moves into a tie for 2nd place in the PSUAC West following a defeat of Shenango

MONT ALTO, P.A.- Following a defeat of Penn State DuBois in straight sets, the volleyball team downed Penn State Shenango in four sets to move into a tie for second place in the PSUAC West. They currently sit tied with Penn State DuBois with a conference record of 7-2. Four key games remain on the schedule as they will host Penn State Greater Allegheny tonight, travel to Penn State New Kensington on Thursday and host Penn State Beaver and Harford C.C. on Sunday afternoon.

 

Kylee Gooding led the squad with 13 kills and a .209 hitting percentage. She also tallied 22 digs in the match. Rachel Manikowski led the defensive effort with 35 digs. Kylie Denlinger registered 34 assists on the offensive end. Caroline Blickley and Gracie Vaughn paced the offensive effort with eight kills each.
