Penn State's Recreation Hall was the setting for the first PSUAC semifinal volleyball match between the #3 seed from the East division Penn State Schuylkill and the #1 seed from the West Penn State Mont Alto. Mont Alto came into the match with some serious momentum, winning eight straight sets, none of which went the distance. The streak was halted at eight following the loss to Penn State Schuylkill last evening. The team hopes they get a chance to continue their season with the USCAA Championships right around the corner.  

The team currently sits #2 in the latest USCAA Division II Volleyball Poll. Mont Alto will now need to receive one of the four at-large bids to the tournament, which is slated to take place November 11-13 at Virginia Beach, VA. The selection show will take place Thursday at 6:30 pm.
