Registration Open for 2019 Mont Alto Summer Sports Camps and Clinics

MONT ALTO, Pa. - The Penn State Mont Alto athletic department is currently accepting registrations for all four of its athletic camps and clinics in which will be hosted on campus. The coaching staffs at Mont Alto welcome the opportunity to work with our youth from the local community. Each camp offers young athletes an opportunity to receive quality training from collegiate coaches as well as older players get great exposure for recruiting identification.

CO-ED Soccer Skills & Training Summer Camp (June 10-14, 2019) - A co-ed soccer skills and training summer camp designed to stimulate a love for the game showing youth athletes how to accelerate their own progress and success. This five-day camp provides a fun and competitive environment for players of all ability levels. Join Penn State Mont Alto Men's Soccer Head Coach Tim Carey and his staff for an excellent opportunity to take your game to the next level. We offer an unforgettable growth experience no matter what your age or skill level and all attendee's will receive a FREE Penn State Mont Alto camp t-shirt and a water bottle!

Session Time: 7-12 year olds 4:30-6:30 p.m. and 12-18 year olds 6:45 p.m.-8:45 p.m. *Children who are 12 will have the option to attend either session based on experience level*
Ages: CO-ED, 7-18 year olds

Cost: $85

Mont Alto Kiddie Soccer Camp (June 18-20, 2019) - Campers at the Penn State Mont Alto Kiddie Camp will be introduced to the most basic soccer fundamentals through station work, games, and other soccer related activities. Open to any and all boys and girls ages 4-7, campers will work directly with Mont Alto coaches, student-athletes, and support staff in a fun filled and action packed 3 evenings. Camp will conclude on Thursday with the participants receiving a FREE Mont Alto Soccer water bottle.

Session Time: 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Ages: CO-ED, 4-7 year olds

Cost: $50

Nittany Lion Volleyball Summer Skills Camp (July 15-19, 2019) - This camp is designed for high school players aspiring to play at the college level. Advanced individual skills and elite game-like drills will be the focus of this week-long camp. The main goal is to give individual attention to each camper as we hope to prepare them for peak club/high school performance as well as preparation for collegiate competition.

Session Time: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Ages: Open to female volleyball players in 7th through 12th grade

Cost: $100

Women's Basketball Prospect Day (August 3, 2019) - Directed by the Penn State Mont Alto women's basketball coaching staff, the ID clinic is designed to give high school age girls, who aspire to compete in college an understanding of the expectations and demands of what it takes to play at the next level. All campers receive a t-shirt and the session will include skill development, games, and competitions. A member of the admissions staff will be available to see more of the campus and to ask questions about the application process at Penn State Mont Alto.

Session Time: 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Ages: Open to all high school players in 9th-12th grade. Registration is limited to first 20 sign-ups.

Cost: $60

Mont Alto Boy's Basketball Clinic (August 10 AND August 17) - The Penn State Mont Alto Boy's Basketball Clinic is designed to provide a fun, challenging and educational basketball experience for boys, ages 8–16. Quality instruction will be provided during drills, lectures, competitions, and games in an enthusiastic and safe manner. It is our hope that campers will have a positive and fun-filled day while also gaining skills to help them become better basketball players.

Session Time: 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Ages: Open Boys, 8 to 16-year-olds

Cost: $35 per session
