On Wednesday, March 25, Penn State announced the implementation of a new opt-in grading system for the spring 2020 semester that will give students flexibility, help preserve GPAs and minimize the impacts to students transcripts during the academic challenges presented by the novel coronavirus public health crisis. In an effort to help our student-athletes navigate remote learning the following resources are available through the Academic Support Center. The ASC Staff continues to utilize WCOnline to schedule appointments. https:/

Drop In Hours will be offered from various ASC Staff as seen in the chart below. When making an appointment with the academic coach, student-athletes can schedule online or by emailing Alex Dunn. All other times available for other resources can be scheduled by appointment on WCOnline.

Academics are the highest priority of a Penn State education and of the student-athlete experience at Mont Alto. To ensure the success of our student-athletes , the Academic Support Center (ASC) provides comprehensive resources and support services throughout the year. Additionally, the academic coach, who works exclusively with our student-athletes, will assist them in developing strategies that will help strengthen their knowledge and develop transferable learning skills.  The academic coach also serves as a liaison between coaches and faculty regarding student academic performance.
