RUSSELLTON, Pa. – The Penn State Mont Alto baseball returned to PSUAC West action on Friday afternoon and racked up another pair of victories this time over PSU New Kensington. In the first game, Matt Huston (McConnellsburg, Pa. / McConnellsburg) scattered two hits along the way to earning his third win of the season. Jarrett Goodyear (Newville, Pa. / Big Spring) smashed a two-run homer in the top of the first to get Mont Alto's offence rolling as they ended up hitting two more dingers for the 17-3 win.

  • New Kensington made it 4-3 after scoring two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning off the eventual winning pitcher Zach Garlin (Newville, Pa. / Big Spring). He earned his fourth win of the season as he wasn't the sharpest, but still gave up just three earned runs and struck out three.
