UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State University Athletic Conference took a few extra days to let the regular season conclude, but headlining the Players of the Week were Hayden Kissel (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg Area), Macy Carper (Sunbury, Pa. / Shikellamy) and Daniel Harman (Biglerville, Pa. / Biglerville) who each turned in outstanding performances on their respective playing field's.

Daniel Harman (Biglerville, Pa. / Biglerville) earned his first-ever PSUAC Golfer of the Week honors on Thursday as the freshman carded the best individual scorer of the Mont Alto four-man squad that competed in the Penn State Hazleton Invitational at Valley Country Club. Herman turned in a solid round of an 86, which also was his best collegiate round of his career.

Kissel had another outstanding week leading Mont Alto to three more wins while hitting .533 in 15 at-bats. The junior infielder had arguably his best collegiate performance to date in Friday's 16-11 win over PSU Greater Allegheny. He went a perfect 4-for-4, while also completing his first career cycle in the top of the ninth inning with a towering home run to center field. Earlier in the month of April, Hayden Kissel (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) claimed USCAA Baseball Player of the Week honors. He enters the postseason slashing .395, which includes a team-best 29 RBIs.

Macy Carper (Sunbury, Pa. / Shikellamy) wrapped up her freshman season by winning all four meets that Mont Alto competed in this spring. She improved week by week while managing challenging courses along the way taking top honors at the Penn State Fayette Invitational, Penn State Mont Alto Invitational, Penn State Brandywine Invitational and then most recently the Penn State Scranton Invitational. The freshman runner distanced herself from the pack while managing a very tough 5K course at Penn State Scranton to finish the race in 23:26.
