HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Blake Orndorff opened the scoring when he reached home on a passed ball in the bottom of the third

-Liam Cooledge put Southern Maine up one with a two-run home run to left field at the top of the fifth

-With the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth, Wyatt Kissel popped out to deep center and advanced all runners to tie the game 2-2

-With two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning, Gavin Kissel hit a big double to right center which scored baserunner Dylan Morgan to put Mont Alto up 3-2 with half an inning left to seal the game

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-James Sibert drove a ball up the middle and scored Brady Bigler and Blake Orndorff to give Mont Alto an early 2-0 advantage in the bottom of the first

-On two outs, Southern Maine battled back and tied the game 2-2 on an error that scored Dante Tocci

-A big triple from Blake Orndorff that one-hopped past the center fielder brought in three runs to put Mont Alto up 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth

-James Sibert added another RBI on a double down the left-field line and scored Kyle Neuendorf

-Southern Maine tried to get some momentum going on two early runs scored in the top of the seventh but Mont Alto's Elijah Snyder closed the game successfully and Mont Alto took the victory 8-4
