HOW IT HAPPENED

-James Sibert scored leadoff man Blake Orndorff in the top of the first as Mont Alto led 1-0 after one.

-Greater Allegheny responded with two runs in the second, one in the fourth and six in the sixth to take a commanding 9-1 advantage. Duston Strom had the big hit, a two RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning.

-Nathanial Smith walked to score the second Mont Alto run in the top of the seventh.

Game Two: Penn State Mont Alto 10, Penn State Greater Allegheny 7

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Cameron Bailey plated two runs on a RBI basehit to extend Mont Alto's early advantage to 3-0.

-Brent Creehan led off the bottom of the first inning for GA with a solo home run. GA tacked on another run to trail 3-2 after one inning.

-Brady Bigler plated two more Mont Alto runs in the top of the second with a RBI single.

-Vinnie Martin and Henry Dickmann both provided GA with RBI hits in the bottom of the third, trimming the deficit to 6-4.

-James Sibert scored two on a RBI double to extend Mont Alto's lead to 8-4. Mont Alto scored two more runs in the inning to move ahead 10-4.

-GA scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth as Mont Alto's bullpen was strong the rest of the way.
