Chance McClure

Chance McClure

McClure is beginning his second season as an Assistant Coach for Penn State Mont Alto during the 2023-24 academic year.


He joins Coach Kissel's staff after a decorated career as a baseball player at Mont Alto. In 131 career games, McClure batted .341 with a .433 slugging percentage and 81 runs batted in.

 

The 2021 season was McClure's most successful as he batted a career-high .429 with 48 hits in 112 at-bats. He also stole 16 bases and drove in 22 runs.

 

Following the season, McClure was named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American for his outstanding season. 

 

He was also named to the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference 1st Team All-West Division in 2021.

 

McClure will look to provide instruction to the outfielders for Mont Alto during the 2024 season.
