Jerome Evans Earns First Team All-American Honors

Uniontown, Pa. - Jerome Evans of the Penn State Mont Alto men's basketball team continued to rake in postseason award recgontion on Tuesday when he was named a First Team All-American by the United State Athletic Association (USCAA). The senior forward was already recognized as a First team All-PSUAC honoree and was named the PSUAC Player of the Year for his outstanding efforts during the 2016-17 season.

Evans played in and started every game as a do-it-all player for the Lions. Controlling the paint, the senior center lead the team in scoring average (20.8), rebounds (11.1), field goal percentage (55.3%) and double-doubles (14). The senior finishes his Penn State Mont Alto career as one of the most decorated athletes in program history and is now a two-time First Team All-American.
