USCAA Announces Anthony F. Davis on National Academic Team

UNIONTOWN, Pa. – Penn State Mont Alto men's basketball sophomore guard Anthony F. Davis (Prince George's County, Md. / Bowie) was named to the United State Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National All-Academic Team on Tuesday evening at the end-of-year championships banquet.

The USCAA All-Academic Team distinction is awarded to student-athletes who have 24 or more credits on their USCAA transcripts with each of their cumulative grade point averages being 3.50 or greater. A full list of the 2017 USCAA Basketball National All-Academic Award winners can be found here.

A communications major, Davis will also be honored by the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic Team later this spring and averaged 2.7 points per game during his sophomore season. Davis netted 30.3 percent of his shots from beyond the arc helping Mont Alto to a 12-13 overall record.
