The men's basketball team was able to back up yesterday's victory to defeat the host school Bryant & Stratton College on Sunday afternoon in Amherst, NY. Darrius Bush led Mont Alto with 25 points, adding seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals to his stat line. Darrius also played a team-high 38 minutes in Sunday's contest.

Quintyn Flemister chipped in 14 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes of action. Cameron Williams had an identical stat line except he scored 13 points in 34 minutes. 

Bryant & Stratton was paced by a balanced effort on the day with four scorers getting over ten points. Sam Dorissaint led the Bobcats with a team-high 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting. Eric Waters scored 15 points on a very efficient 6-of-8 shooting on the day. Marcellus Cooper (12) and RaeQuan Scott (11) rounded out the top scorers for the opposition. 

Each team attempted 23 free throws, with Mont Alto holding the advantage in makes at 18-17. Darrius Bush was key for Mont Alto connecting on 13 of his 15 attempts at the charity stripe. Quintyn Flemister made 5 of his 6 at the line. 

Up Next: The men's team will have a few days to rest up before taking on Williamson in the nightcap of the Benchoff Tournament at Penn State Mont Alto on Friday evening. That tipoff will be at 8:00pm.
