How It Happened

-Darrius Bush followed up a 15 point performance last evening to lead the team once again Saturday against Apprentice, scoring a team-high 29 points and earning tournament most valuable player honors. He was near a triple-double, grabbing 11 boards and dishing out six assists.

-Senior Quintyn Flemister was 8-12 from the field and 2-5 from deep to score 21 points. He also had six assists and one steal.

-John Teague was unstoppable in the post on Saturday, making ten of 13 field-goal attempts to score 24 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds, two on the offensive end.

-Shorthanded, the rest of the Mont Alto team picked up the slack to move to 4-0 on the young season.
