Game Story
-Quintyn Flemister capped off a 7-0 Penn State Mont Alto run to begin the contest on a 3-pointer.
-Jordan Stevens converted on a free throw to bring Kent State Tuscarawas back to a tied game at 9-9 with 13:03 remaining in the first half.
-A Kent State Tuscarawas layup by DeJaun Williams gave them their largest lead of the half at nine (30-21) with just 1:26 left in the half.
-Cameron Shockley grabbed a missed three pointer and converted on a put back slam dunk, giving the 9th seeded Flashes a 32-24 halftime advantage.
-A little less than two minutes into the second half, the lead was erased on baskets by Cameron Williams, Darrius Bush and Caleb Eckert.
-London Cobbs made a basket, giving Kent State Tuscarawas a seven point advantage with 13 minutes left to play.
-Penn State Mont Alto quickly vanished that advantage with a 7-0 run with 11:24 remaining, giving them a 44-43 lead.
-Penn State Mont Alto made six of eight free throw attempts down the stretch, sealing the victory 61-56.
