Penn State Mont Alto 77, Penn State Shenango 60

Nathan Osei led all Penn State Mont Alto scorers with 22 points in 34 minutes of action as Penn State Mont Alto defeated Penn State Shenango on Saturday afternooon by a final of 77-60.

Caleb Eckert scored 19 points and Anthony Davis added 15 off the bennch to pace the Mont Alto offensive efforts. Jeremiah Green had 17 points to led Shenango in the losing effort.

Mont Alto pushed out to an early 20-10 lead in the first half as they went on an 8-0 run capped off by a Caleb Eckert bucket and a three-pointer. Shenango closed the half on a 8-0 run after being down 26-14 to tie the game at 24-24. Mont Alto would take a 27-24 lead into the break.

Osei had a near perfect second half for Mont Alto as he scored 16 of his 22 points in the game's final 20 minutes. He shot 6 of 7 from the floor and made both of his free throw attempts. Davis converted on all five of his shot attempts to score 12 points off the bench in ten minutes of action in the half.

Mont Alto tallied 50 points in the second half on its way to winning the half 50-36, shooting 51% compared to 35% from Shenango.
