Christendom 59, Penn State Mont Alto 57

Mont Alto, Pa- Mont Alto Men's basketball team went up against Christendom for a non-conference matchup. Early on this was a very close game with each team taking the lead. In the end Christendom would pull away with the narrow win over Mont Alto 59-57.

How it Happened

- Early in the first half it would be a back-and-forth battle with there being four lead changes.    

-At the end of the first half Christendom would control the lead 28-26 going into the second quarter.   

-In the second half, Christendom would make a little push making their lead 12 points which was the most it was all game.   

- Late in the second half with time running out, a jumper from Veron Talla would make Mont Alto's deficit only 2 points with 1:16 left in the game. Mont Alto would try again with two seconds left but they were unable to get the basket to go and Christendom would end up with the 59-57 victory.

Veron Talla- 17 points, 10 rebounds

Johnathan Pang- 8 points, 4 rebounds

Caleb Eckert- 7 points, 10 rebounds

Christendom Leaders:

John Fowler- 22 points, 5 rebounds

Bobby Vander Woude- 11 points, 6 rebounds

Luke Ross- 8 points, 6 rebounds
