2023 Golf Preview

The 2023 Penn State Mont Alto golf team enters this year with three returners and four new athletes added. Last year was a strong one for the team with multiple finishes inside the top four and they are looking to build off that success come this year. With lots of individual success in the PSUAC/USCAA Championships last season, it is a good foundation for more of the same this year.

Brennan Sease

Sease had a strong 1^st year leading the team in shots multiple times throughout the season. He finished tied for 63^rd in the PSUAC/USCAA Championships shooting an 83 on the day.

Brogan Beall

Beall had a successful 3^rd year finishing top two on the team in shots multiple times. He ended up placing 58^th in the PSUAC/USCAA Championships totaling 172 strokes in two days. Beall was also named the Penn State Mont Alto John Fritz Sportsmanship Award winner last season.

Stephen Lucas

Lucas had a good 2^nd year being able to finish top three on the team twice. He finished the year strong and finished tied for 77^th place at the PSUAC/USCAA Championships shooting a total of 181. He was named to a USCAA Academic All-American team after the event.
