Golfers finish 3rd at PSUAC Invitational

The Penn State Mont Alto golf team traveled to State College, Pa on Thursday morning to participate in the PSUAC Invitational held at the White Course. First year players Hunter Flickinger and Ryan Small led Mont Alto as they each recorded a round of 73, each going +1 for the round. Ben Irr shot a 78 while Brennan Sease (81), Brennan Sease (83) and Brogan Beall (84) rounded out the scoring for Mont Alto. 

 

Penn State York took home the team title from the event with a team score of 301, paced by Andy Manges who tied for the best round of the day with a 71. Mont Alto finished strong as a team, finishing a stroke behind Hazleton to come in 3rd place with a team score of 305.

 

For Small and Flickinger, their individual scores finished tied for third place on the day.
