Penn State Mont Alto golf took part in its second match of the season yesterday, the Mont Alto Invitational held at Penn National. Mont Alto's Ryan Small finished with a 72 and entered the clubhouse as the leader and remained atop the leaderboard as the other groups finished to win his first event of the year. Small won the event by four strokes as Brandywine's Zac Karlton shot a 76 and York's Mason Steward was right behind him with a 77.
Penn State York won the team portion of the event with a team score of 320. Brandywine took second place with a 321 and Mont Alto finished in third with a 323.
Two other Mont Alto golfers finished within the top 15 with Brogan Beall carding a 82 on senior day with an 11th place finish and Brennan Sease finished the day with a 84, finishing in 15th.
