MONT ALTO, Pa.- The Mont Alto golf team hosted eight other teams in their 2024 Mont Alto Invitational at Penn National Golf Club Wednesday afternoon. The results on Wednesday were more of the same from the DuBois Invitational on Sunday. Ben Irr took the individual title with a score of 70, six shots better than the second place finisher.

The team finished with a round total of 314, finishing 19 strokes ahead of second place Penn State Hazleton. 

Jacob Bassham finished in the top five with a 79. Hunter Flickinger (82) 11th and Ryan Small (83) 13th were close behind Bassham in the top 15. Levi Hassinger carded a 85 and finished in 16th place. Stephen Lucas rounded out Mont Alto's day with a 87, finishing 18th.
