Mont Alto Soccer Teams to Host “Pink Out” Games on October 13

MONT ATLO, Pa. – The Penn State Mont Alto men's and women's soccer teams are raising awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer with its "Pink Out" games on Saturday, Oct. 13 during a doubleheader against Penn State Hazleton.

Both programs will be wearing specially designed pink jerseys and fans are encouraged to wear pink in recognition of breast cancer awareness. The teams will also have silent auction tables setup during both matches where donated items/themed baskets will be available to bid on with all proceeds being donated to the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA). Breast cancer survivors and all survivors of cancer will be honored during a halftime presentation during the women's game at approximately 5 p.m.

The Mont Alto men's soccer team will take on Penn State Hazleton at 2 p.m. and the women will follow at 4 p.m.

The Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance is a faith based ministry whose mission is to provide current and updated education and information in the areas of breast cancer and preventative health care to women and men of any age, race, religion and socioeconomic level in Franklin County and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania. We also provide faith-based support to those whose lives have been devastated or touched by the disease of breast cancer.
