2018 PSUAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Awards

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) announced its 2018 men's soccer end of year awards on Tuesday along with the rest of the PSUAC Fall All-Conference awards. Mont Alto freshman Bryce Palamar (Smithsburg, Md. / Williamsport) earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors and Alex Martinez (Frederick, Md. / Governor Thomas Johnson) was the teams John Fritz Sportsmanship Award representative.

Palamar had a solid debut season as midfielder for Mont Alto and while he didn't always appear in the box score he finished the 2018 season leading the team in shots with 36. He also finished with six points, which included a pair of goals and two assists.

Additionally, sophomore defender Alex Martinez (Frederick, Md. / Governor Thomas Johnson) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team. Named after former PSUAC Commissioner John Fritz, the sportsmanship award is given to one player from each team in the league who best displays the core values of the league and sportsmanship to teammates and opponents throughout the season.

It's the second season in a row that the Mont Alto men's soccer program has had a student-athlete named to the all-conference  squad.
