Christendom 4, Penn State Mont Alto 3- Mont Alto Labor Day Classic

Penn State Mont Alto held a 2-0 halftime lead during its final game of the 2023 Mont Alto Labor Day Classic over Christendom only to see the Crusaders find the back of the net four times in the games final 45 minutes for a come from behind victory.

Kynn Loss found Thomas Oberholzer on the left side to get the scoring started early in the 9th minute. Oberholzer would return the favor eleven minutes later as Loss talled a goal of his own from about ten yards out. 

Isaias Odiatu got Christendom on the board with a goal assisted from Sean Corcoran in the 51st minute. Adriel De Jesus pushed the Mont Alto lead back up to two goals with his first tally of the season as Mont Alto led 3-1. Christendom would tie the game within a six minute span as Aidan Oakley and Sean Corcoran both scored at the 79th and 80th minute respectively.

The tie would be broken six minutes later on a goal from Michael Townsend in the 86th minute. The non-conference loss pushes Mont Alto to 1-2 with another non-conference battle against Wilson College coming up on Wednesday. The road game is scheduled for a 4pm start.

Oberholzer, Loss and Devin Wynkoop were all named to the All-Tournament team following Saturday's action.
