The first game of todays double header against visiting Penn State Beaver was all pitching and defense from both dugouts.  Chapin Guiliante was on the mound, and went the distance for Mont Alto.  Through 7 innings Guiliante inly gave up 6 hits and 1 run.

That would be enough for Beaver to win the first game though, 1-0.  Alyssa Munns and Krista Feaser had 3 and 2 hits respectively for Mont Alto, and although they were in scoring position a few times Mont Alto couldn't capitalize and left 7 runners stranded throughout the game.

Game 2 saw Mont Alto's bats go cold, and everything seemed to pop out to Beaver.  Although Munns threw a good game from the mound for Mont Alto, Beaver had their bats swinging well in the second game. 

Beaver would go on to take the second game as well, 12-0, and surpass Mont Alto in the PSUAC standings.  Mont Alto is still 4th in the PSUAC, and looks to bounce back tomorrow as they host Penn State Hazleton at 2:00 pm.
