HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Mont Alto started off the scoring in the top of the third inning when McKenna Sas hit a RBI double to score Kirsten Dell.

-Brianna Dehoff tied the game in the next half inning when she scored Avery Sickeri on a RBI single.

-Mont Alto capitalized on some errors and timely base hits in the top of the fourth to pull ahead 5-1.

-Destiny Hall and Kira Weikert each had big hits in the top half of the seventh inning to lead 10-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Mont Alto got on the board first with a RBI groundout from Aiyana Young in the first inning

-The Nittany Lions opened things up with a nine run third inning starred by a Aiyana Young 2 RBI triple and a Kirsten Dell RBI double

-Frederick CC put three runs on the board in the bottom of the third inning as Mont Alto led 10-3.

-Ahead 11-6 heading into the top of the seventh inning, Mont Alto scored four runs on 2 RBI base hits from Skye Herring and Emily Sicinski. 

-Frederick CC comeback effort fell short as they only scored two runs in the home half of the seventh inning.
