HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Mont Alto jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the second inning as Kirsten Dell and Delaney Glazer each took Emma Crisswell yard.

-Schuylkill would battle back to score four runs in the fourth inning as Cealinn McGroarty had the big hit in the inning, a 2 RBI single.

-Paige Loudenslager helped gain those runs back with a 2 RBI single to left as Mont Alto moved ahead 8-4 after four.

-MacKenzie Carl homered to left for Schuylkill in the top of the fifth inning to cut the deficit to 8-5. Jade Weiss would also plate a run in the fifth, but the comeback effort came up short.

Up Next: Mont Alto takes on Brandywine in a rematch of last week's PSUAC Championship contest. First pitch is scheduled for 2pm from Heindl Field in DuBois, Pa. The winner advances to Thursday's championship game.
