HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Emily Reagan had the big first inning hit to score Brandywine's first run, a RBI double to score Lexi Bussenger. Brandywine got out to a 3-0 lead after one.

-Brandywine was able to chase Mont Alto starter Delaney Glazer out of the game in the third inning without recording an out. Brandywine scored five runs on four hits in the inning to go ahead 8-0.

-Meagan Ferry recorded a 2 RBI triple in the bottom of the fourth to help Brandywine extend the lead to 11-0. Naya Rivera recorded a RBI groundout to finish off the inning with Brandywine leading 12-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Salem started out the game with two runs in the top of the first inning, Mont Alto got one run back on a McKenna Sas single up the middle. Salem led 2-1 after one inning.

-Brooke Wise and Rickai Garay each double to left field to extend the Salem lead to 4-1. Mont Alto would once again respond with a RBI double from Paige Loudenslager. Mont Alto trailed 4-2 after three complete.

-Salem would extend their lead un the fourth and fifth innings, scoring 12 runs on a combined ten hits to move ahead and advance to Thursday's championship game by a final of 16-3. Mont Alto finishes their season with a 28-10 overall record and a 3rd place finish in the USCAA.
