Game One: Mont Alto 9, Hazleton 1
Mont Alto picked up a game one victory on Senior Day after scoring four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to win via mercy rule. With the win, Mont Alto improved to 3-0 in the PSUAC. Paige Loudenslager kicked off her Senior Day performance with a key two RBI double in the bottom of the fourth inning to push the Mont Alto advantage to 5-1.
In the bottom of the sixth, Lauren Allison, Cammble Sterner and Kira Weikert each recorded RBI hits as Mont Alto took game one 9-1. Ten different players recorded hits for Mont Alto in the winning effort. Mackenzie Stake struck out 10 batters in six innings of work in her Senior Day start.
Game Two: Mont Alto 17, Hazleton 4
Mont Alto continued their momentum into game two, winning again by mercy rule in a 17-4 victory. After Hazleton scored in the top of the second inning, Mont Alto responded with six runs in the home half. Cammble Sterner got the scoring started on a RBI single to the pitcher. Rachel Alleman later stole home on a delayed steal from third to record the second run of the inning. Alyssa Wiles and Paige Loudenslager continued the inning with RBI doubles each. Hailey Spielman hit her second home run of the season in the bottom of the third inning as Mont Alto led 7-2. Lauren Allison would later single up the middle, plating two and giving the home team a 10-2 lead. Paige Loudenslager had the other huge hit in the inning, a double to center. Mont Alto tallied 11 runs in the inning six hits. Hazleton would score two runs late in the game, but Mont Alto's offense was too much in a 17-4 win.
Paige Loudenslager paced the offense in game two with three hits and two doubles. She also went the distance in the circle, striking out five in five innings of work. Alyssa Wiles recorded a double and led the team in runs batted in with four.
