How It Happened

-Four quick points by Alexia Hackett followed by a Brianna Muldrow layup gave Penn State Mont Alto a 11-2 lead four minutes into the contest.

-A turnover by Madison Bishop led to a Jimya Chambers steal and layup, giving Penn State Beaver a 6-0 run and the lead back with the score 12-11.

-Colette Salyers connected on back-to-back jumpers to tie the game at 17-17 early in the second quarter.

-Hackett and Bishop connected on consecutive three-pointers, putting Penn State Mont Alto back on top 25-20.

-A Naliyah Hadley free throw gave Penn State Mont Alto a 31-20 lead with four minutes left in the half.

-A 13-0 Penn State Beaver run was capped off by a pair of Emily Keener free throws, giving the home team a 33-31 halftime lead.

-Penn State Mont Alto scored only eight points in the third quarter, as Penn State Beaver took a 53-39 lead into the final frame.

-Brianna Muldrow scored four points in the fourth quarter as Penn State Mont Alto couldn't complete the comeback.
