
Penn State Mont Alto 61, Penn State DuBois 30
Kaleigh Hartman scored a career-high 25 points on Saturday afternoon in Mont Alto's 61-30 win over Penn State DuBois. The win gave Mont Alto their fourth consecutive victory. Dariana Perez chipped in a 21 point, 14 rebound double-double in the winning effort.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
-Hartman converted on her first two three point attempts of the contest and added a layup in the early going as Mont Alto led 11-3 with 5:18 left in the first quarter.
-Mont Alto controlled the remainder of the quarter and led 20-9 after one.
-Both defenses stepped up in the second quarter as both teams combined for 20 total points. Dariana Perez led Mont Alto with seven second quarter points and Mont Alto went into the break with a 32-17 advantage.
-Mont Alto shot 8 of 12 from the floor in the third quarter, breaking out for 22 third quarter points and holding DuBois to 7 on 2 of 8 shooting. Perez led Mont Alto in scoring in the third with nine points.
-Both teams shot 2 of 16 in the final quarter as Mont Alto controlled the game throughout, winning 61-30.
