Penn State Mont Alto 67, Penn State Scranton 54

SCRANTON, Pa. – Penn State Mont Alto traveled to Penn State Scranton this past Saturday for some conference action. Double-doubles from Dariana Perez and Shanez Morales helped push Mont Alto past Penn State Scranton and improve to 11-5 in their conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-A jumper from Mont Alto's Autumn Fischer put her team up 12-5 after trailing 5-0 early in the first quarter

-Scranton's Alahnna Balbach tied the game 12-12 with 7:54 left in the second quarter

-A jump shot from Shanez Morales capped a 14-0 run with only a minute remaining in the half

-Dariana Perez hit a pair of free throws to put Mont Alto up 35-22 early in the third quarter

-Jay Contorno brought Penn State Scranton within five as the score was 55-50 with six minutes left in the contest

-Mont Alto's Kaleigh Hartman laid the ball in and pushed her team to a 67-52 lead with just over one minute remaining in the game
