Penn State Mont Alto 47, Penn State Hazleton 46

Mont Alto, Pa.- Mont Alto started off the week facing off against Penn State Hazleton. It was a close contest throughout, seeing Mont Alto come out on top. Shanez Morales led the charge dropping 16 points for Mont Alto.

How It Happened

-It was a low scoring first quarter seeing Mont Alto Leading 8-7 by the end of the quarter. Autumn Fischer of Mont Alto controlled the paint with 3 blocks.

-The second quarter was back and forth. But with a three pointer from Daijah Wallace and Layups from Brooklyn Merryman and Dariana Perez Mont Alto went into half winning 22-19

-Both team struggling from the field in the third quarter as Mont Alto was leading 32-28 going into the fourth quarter.

-Shanez Morales was efficient in the fourth quarter going two for two from the field and two for three from the free throw line. Mont Alto won of a final score of 47-46.
