Penn State Mont Alto 57, Penn State Wilkes-Barre 49 

Mont Alto, Pa- Mont Alto women's basketball went up against Penn State Wilkes-Barre for a conference matchup. Mont Alto came away with the victory led by a strong performance from Dariana Perez who scored 24 points to go along with 13 rebounds and seven assists.  

How It Happened 

-Early in the game Mont Alto quickly gained a 6-2 lead with help from Daijah Wallace and Dariana Perez.  

-Penn State Wilkes-Barre would then answer back, making the score 8-6 with a jump shot from Lamar'sha Wilson and a layup from Haylie Oliphant .  

-Soon after, Mont Alto kept up the pressure and took a controlling lead of 33-19 at the end of the second quarter.  

-Mont Alto would then keep the lead for the remainder of the game led by a 24-point performance by Dariana Perez.

Dariana Perez- 24 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists 

Shanez Morales- 11 points, 6 rebounds 

Autumn Fischer- 10 points, 8 rebounds 

Penn State Wilkes-Barre Leaders: 

Lamar'sha Wilson- 14 points, 2 rebounds 

Jaidyn Kotch- 10 points, 3 steals 

Haylie Oliphant- 8 points, 2 rebounds
