Penn State Mont Alto 99, Penn State Scranton 27

Mont Alto, Pa- Mont Alto women's basketball went up against Penn State Scranton for a home game and a conference matchup. A close game in the beginning turned out to be a commanding Mont Alto victory with Dariana Perez scoring 27 points.

How it Happened

-Penn State Scranton came out hot with two 3-point shots making their lead 10-2 early in the first quarter.

-Mont Alto would then go on an 11-point streak, tying the game at 12-12 with only a minute left in the first quarter.

-In the third quarter Mont Alto would hold Scranton to only 2 points in the whole quarter, while scoring 25 unanswered points.

-Mont Alto would keep the pressure up in the fourth, extending their lead to 99-27 and would earn the victory over Penn State Scranton with Dariana Perez scoring 27 points.
